How to Choose Your Size
Step 1: Take Your Measurements
Grab a soft measuring tape and measure your chest: wrap it around the fullest part of your chest, under your armpits, and across your shoulder blades. Keep the tape snug but not tight. Write that number down.
Also measure your height and weight as a reference. The size chart on the product page uses chest measurements in inches. For example:
| Size | Chest (inches) | Length (inches) | Sleeve (inches) |
| S | 36-38 | 27 | 33 |
| M | 39-41 | 28 | 34 |
| L | 42-44 | 29 | 35 |
| XL | 45-47 | 30 | 36 |
| 2XL | 48-50 | 31 | 37 |
Step 2: Consider Your Fit Preference
The Premium Hoodie is designed with a relaxed silhouette. If you want a classic fit, order your normal size based on chest. For an oversized, streetwear look, go up one size. If you prefer a trimmer fit that hugs your body a bit more, go down one size.
Step 3: Account for Shrinkage
The fabric is pre-shrunk, but all cotton blends can shrink slightly in hot washes. We recommend washing in cold water and tumble drying low. If you're between sizes or plan to hot wash, size up to be safe.
Sizing for Other Merch
If you're grabbing other items like the
John Mayer Classic T-Shirt ($24.99) or the
John Mayer Polo Shirt ($34.99), note that those are cut differently. The t-shirt has a standard fit, while the polo is more tailored. The
John Mayer Tank Top ($19.99) runs true to size with a relaxed armhole. Always check the individual size chart for each product.
